FIT & NYC…

I’m Rachel and I’m a 19-year-old living my dream as a freshman at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC as a fashion design major. As an aspiring fashion designer, I would love to share my knowledge and love for fashion with you. I love to help others look amazing all day, every day, in an affordable and manageable way while focusing on key pieces necessary for any wardrobe that can tie any outfit together.

I was born and raised near the beautiful shores of Long Island, NY. I have lived here, sandwiched between NYC, the east end of Long Island, and travelling frequently to beautiful upstate NY and being influenced and inspired by it all. 

To me, fashion is beauty and I love all beauty in all of its forms… not only things, but beautiful people too. In clothing, I look for what makes someone glow and brings out their inner beauty. I believe the right article of clothing can elevate anyone’s mood, inspire them to new levels of confidence and that confidence can attract new opportunity with the energy that is created. 

Dressing well and looking fashionable doesn’t have to break the bank for everyday activities like going to class, lunch, or shopping. Everyone can achieve putting together a beautiful outfit to inspire them through their day. Whether facing another day after a sleepless night or working hard to achieve another personal, academic or career dream, dressing the part can create the energy to inspire to live each day to the fullest.
